I am a former NHS employee. Am I eligible to enter for the NHS category?  

Yes.

 

I am engaged in medical research or teach health professionals in the UK. Am I eligible to enter the UK NHS category?  

Yes.

 

I am employed in a UK professional organisation supporting NHS staff training and education. Am I eligible to enter the UK NHS category?  

Yes.

 

I am an NHS clinician seconded or on sabbatical or training period overseas.

Am I eligible to enter for the UK NHS category?  

Yes.

 

Are entrants for the NHS category also eligible for the Open International category?

Yes.

 

Do I have to use the electronic entry fee option?

No. Electronic entries may be paid by post. See the competition rules.

 

How do I get further information about the competition?

Email the organisers at admin@fpm-uk.org

 

I submitted my entry online before the secure online payment link was open.

How do I pay my entry fee?

You may pay online by going directly to the pay link administered by the Fellowship of Postgraduate Medicine or by cheque sent by mail as explained in the Competition Rules.

 

The email acknowledgement has lost the formatting for the poem(s) I entered.

The online submission received for the judges retains your formatting.

 

My poem concerns a specific patient. What caution is needed?

Make sure no patient-identifiable detail is included.
